ABOUT EXITIUM

€1.316,00

“Sui Exitium” by Massimiliano Precisi is a work that vibrates with tension and denunciation, a visual cacophony that leaves no room for breath. The mixed technique on wood translates into an explosion of textures and levels, where the eye never finds respite. The central figure, a face full of eyes, masks and fragments of humanity, is at the same time protagonist and prisoner of a fragmented and symbolic landscape. Graphic elements and illustrations mix with hints of collage and childish drawings, creating a contrast that amplifies the message of hypocrisy and falsity that pervades Precisi's work.

The title, “Sui Exitium” (On the Ruin), echoes a sense of decay and impending doom, underlined by the presence of rats and symbols of urban decay. The monochrome broken up by sporadic bright colors heightens the sense of precariousness. Provocative and merciless, the work forces the viewer to confront his own shadows.

Massimiliano Precisi

Art as revelation: rawness, truth, impact

Massimiliano Precisi, master of pictorial irreverence , is an Italian artist who has conquered not only national stages, but also prestigious international galleries, from the United Kingdom to the United Arab Emirates , up to Switzerland .

His work, ferocious and merciless , is a hymn to human hypocrisy , not to celebrate it but to unmask it, stripping it away with crude brushstrokes and sharp symbolism.

A visual language between masks and disintegrations

His universe is populated by masks , multifaceted faces and anatomical fragments , which tell stories of falsehood, illusions and moral breakdowns .
Precise, an alchemist of materials , he expertly mixes acrylics, oils, pencils and collages on all types of supports – from canvas to wood – transforming them into real emotional and social battlefields .

Artist's Manifesto

"Art is not what you see, but what you allow others to see."

This is his manifesto and his warning : looking at his works means confronting what we often prefer to ignore .
