Portugal welcomed us with its unparalleled charm, divided between the energy of Lisbon and the poetic atmosphere of Porto. Two different cities, but united by the vibrant character of a people who know how to intertwine tradition and modernity.

Lisbon, between light and azulejos

In Lisbon, the light seems to dance on the buildings decorated with azulejos, the typical hand-painted ceramic tiles. Walking through the alleys of Alfama, the oldest neighborhood, you can breathe an air of nostalgia. Here, Fado – traditional Portuguese music – intertwines with the stories of fishermen and sailors.

We couldn't help but get lost in the Feira da Ladra market, hunting for hidden treasures: old painted ceramics that tell centuries of history and the expert hands that have shaped their forms.

Oporto, poetry about the Douro

Porto captivated us with its warm colors, mirrored in the waters of the Douro River. Here, ceramics come to life in historic workshops, each piece unique, full of tradition. We visited hidden ateliers, where artisans continue to pass on a centuries-old art, and found objects that seem to capture the soul of this city.

Food, then, is a chapter in itself. From cod cooked in a thousand ways to pear soaked in Port wine, each dish told us a story, each flavor inspired us.

A journey that lives in the details

Lisbon and Porto are not just cities, they are emotions: a mix of colors, flavors and traditions that are reflected in the ceramics we have chosen to bring with us. Each object is a fragment of Portugal, a piece of that light and poetry that have conquered us.
