When an interior is almost complete, it is often the last elements that prove most difficult to choose. A vase may seem too small, a work of art may compete with the furniture, a shelf may appear empty even after adding many objects.

It is at this stage that we intervene most often. We do not start from a pre-established formula, but from the space, the people who inhabit it, and what is already present.

Our work consists of identifying artworks, ceramics, and design objects capable of completing a space without making it feel contrived or impersonal.

Different shapes, colors, and materials can coexist when proportions and distances are well calibrated.

Where we start

The Space Dimensions, light, and existing furnishings
The Need A focal point, a balance, or a new accent
The Person Tastes, habits, and objects already cherished

Practical help for furnishing your home

The service is also designed for those who are furnishing their home and do not wish to entrust the entire project to an interior designer, but feel the need for advice in choosing the final elements.

This could be a sideboard to complete, a wall that is still empty, a bookcase that is difficult to arrange, or a table that lacks a presence capable of giving character to the room.

In these cases, a site visit is not necessary. Photographs, measurements, and a brief description of the space are often sufficient to start working together.

A Wall

We assess dimensions, orientation, and the relationship of the artwork with furniture, doors, and light sources.

A Surface

We create compositions for sideboards, consoles, tables, and bookcases, avoiding random clutter.

A Room

We look for a common thread among materials, colors, and objects already present in the room.

The process, step by step

Every request is different, but the method remains simple. Before proposing anything, we try to understand what the space truly lacks and what kind of presence is being sought.

01

You tell us about the space

We receive photographs, measurements, images of the furnishings, and some indications about tastes, colors to avoid, needs, and budget range.

02

We identify what is needed

Adding more elements is not always the solution. Sometimes a single well-proportioned object is sufficient; in other cases, a composition needs to be built.

03

We prepare a selection

We search among available objects and, when necessary, check with artists and artisans for variants, sizes, or works compatible with the request.

04

We verify proportions and combinations

We compare measurements, heights, colors, and materials. The goal is not to fill the space, but to find a credible balance with what is already present.

05

We manage the order and delivery

Once the choice is finalized, we confirm availability, timings, shipping methods, and useful instructions for correctly placing the objects.

The selection starts not from style, but from the person

Definitions like minimal, classic, contemporary, or eclectic are useful for orientation, but rarely enough to describe a home.

We prefer to understand which environments make those who contact us feel good, which objects they have treasured for years, and what they would never want to see in their space. These are more useful indicators than a simple aesthetic label.

Our research includes ceramics, paintings, sculptures, vintage pieces, and objects from artistic collaborations. Not everything is suitable for every home, and not everything necessarily needs to be matched.

Curatorial work also involves exclusion: narrowing down the choice to only the proposals that are truly consistent with the space.

Before the proposal

We try to understand not only what is liked, but also what the object needs to do: attract attention, complete a composition, introduce color, or create a pause.

Who selects the objects

The search is carried out directly by us, Elena Bonannini and Lorenzo Lazzeroni. Elena handles relationships with artists, artisans, and clients; Lorenzo brings his experience as a designer and his interpretation of proportions, materials, and space to the process.

This exchange allows us to observe each request from two perspectives: that of the object and that of the environment that will host it.

When the catalog doesn't have the answer

Not all requests can be resolved through objects already available online. A different size, an artwork with a specific palette, or a solution developed for a particular point in the environment may be needed.

In these cases, we explore the possibility of involving the artists and artisans we collaborate with. Customization is evaluated on a case-by-case basis, considering feasibility, timeframes, technique, and budget.

We don't propose modifications just to make an object "custom-made". A variation makes sense when it maintains the author's identity and, at the same time, truly responds to the project.

A dedicated path also for professionals

For architects, interior designers, showrooms, and hospitality structures, the method starts from the same principle, but extends to managing project needs.

We can support the selection of multiple artworks, preparation of quotes, consultation with artists and artisans, verification of availability, and logistics organization.

For shootings, set design, and events, dedicated rental and staging formulas are also available. The complete process is described in the Vicode Professionals Area. :contentReference[oaicite:1]{index=1}
