With Opus #17, Uodi almost completely renounces color, entrusting the construction of the image to line. Figures, symbols, and signs overlap to create a composition that retains the language of the graphic novel but eliminates an immediately readable narrative.

The word "SPAZIO" (SPACE) acts simultaneously as text and graphic form. Placed among the characters, it introduces a further question about the relationship between figures, void, and surface.

On a light-colored wall, the monochrome takes on a distinct and almost architectural presence.
