Between living art, refined glasses and stars: our event in Vicopisano
It is difficult to put into words the beauty of what we experienced last night. Yet we feel the need to tell it, to stop it for a moment - because it is precisely from moments like these that the soul of VICODE takes shape.
In the heart of the medieval village of Vicopisano , surrounded by ancient walls and a clear sky dotted with stars, an event took place that exceeded all our expectations. The participation was generous, heartfelt, warm. We gathered among friends, among familiar faces and new encounters, welcomed with affection also by those who wanted to bring a special greeting like that of our friend Matteo Ferrucci and our friend Michele Marroni – simple and true presences, who enriched the moment with sincere words.
The atmosphere was made even more memorable by the excellence of Enoteca 88 , which took care of every detail with savoir-faire and passion: an elegant aperitif with selected raw materials and tastefully selected glasses, followed by an intimate and evocative dinner, between illuminated walls and the light breeze of the village.
The heart of the evening, however, was the meeting between art and people. Our beloved artists – Esteban , Massimiliano Precisi and Uodi – gave life to live performances that enchanted those present. Their live paintings lit up glances, raised questions, moved. It was beautiful to see them welcomed with such attention and warmth.
The selection of objects we brought with us – the result of travels, discoveries and conscious choices – was also a great success. Many pieces found a home among those present, literally desired and chosen with enthusiasm. A strong signal: our project is understood, appreciated, shared.
Almost a year after the birth of VICODE, last night we gave concrete form to what, until recently, was an idea. Not just a site, not just a virtual space, but a real, human, living project. Among people, in their hands, in their looks and in their words.
It was a beautiful event, and we can only thank from the bottom of our hearts those who made all this possible: the friends, the artists, the guests, Enoteca 88 for the impeccable welcome, the know-how and the rare quality.
We felt enthusiasm, warmth, closeness .
And from here we want to start again. With gratitude. With new energy. With the same love that has always accompanied us.
