Between living art, refined glasses, and stars: our event in Vicopisano
It's difficult to put into words the beauty of what we experienced last night. Yet we feel the need to share it, to capture it for a moment—because it's precisely from moments like these that the soul of VICODE takes shape.
In the heart of the medieval village of Vicopisano , surrounded by ancient walls and a clear, star-studded sky, an event took place that exceeded our every expectation. The turnout was generous, heartfelt, and warm. We mingled with friends, familiar faces and new encounters, warmly welcomed even by those who wished to offer special greetings, such as those of our friends Matteo Ferrucci and Michele Marroni —simple and genuine presences who enriched the moment with sincere words.
The atmosphere was made even more memorable by the excellence of Enoteca 88 , which took care of every detail with savoir-faire and passion: an elegant aperitif with select raw materials and tastefully selected glasses, followed by an intimate and evocative dinner, between illuminated walls and the light breeze of the village.
The heart of the evening, however, was the encounter between art and people. Our beloved artists— Esteban , Massimiliano Precisi, and Uodi —presented live performances that enchanted those in attendance. Their live paintings captivated audiences, raised questions, and moved them. It was wonderful to see them welcomed with such attention and warmth.
The selection of objects we brought with us—the fruit of travels, discoveries, and conscious choices—was also a great success. Many pieces found a home among those in attendance, literally desired and chosen with enthusiasm. A strong message: our project is understood, appreciated, and shared.
Almost a year after VICODE's inception, last night we gave concrete form to what, until recently, was just an idea. Not just a website, not just a virtual space, but a real, human, living project. Among people, in their hands, in their gazes, and in their words.
It was a beautiful event, and we can only extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it possible: our friends, the artists, the guests, and Enoteca 88 for their impeccable hospitality, expertise, and rare quality.
We felt enthusiasm, warmth, closeness .
And from here we want to start again. With gratitude. With renewed energy. With the same love that has always accompanied us.
