Product Description

Cresta d’Avorio shows how a sculpture doesn’t need to be large to build a precise presence. The form rises with a slender and irregular profile, suspended between a peak, a ridge, and an animal figure reduced to its essence.

The light surface is crossed by a minute craquelure network. From a distance, it appears almost uniform; up close, however, it reveals a texture of micro-fractures that adds depth and suggests a material marked by time.

At the base, red introduces a clear break. The color concentrates the visual weight in the lower part and prevents the sculpture from becoming completely ethereal. It can be displayed on top of some books, on a desk, a shelf, or a small console, where the intimate scale invites close viewing.

Use and care

Cresta d’Avorio is intended exclusively for display. Do not wet the surface or use detergents. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth.

The charm of handmade

The profile, craquelure, and the boundary between ivory and red show variations that are inherent to the manual construction of the work. A piece selected by Vicode for its ability to condense matter, color, and formal tension into a few centimeters.
