Eco di Trama is a sculpture by Gabriella Gaudino and Roberto Giuntoli that combines glazed terracotta and raw wood. A winged face emerges from the natural support, while on the ceramic an imprinted texture evokes the surface of a fabric or an ancient lace.

Product Description

Eco di Trama works with tactile contrasts. The wood retains its natural knots, fibers, and irregularities; the ceramic, on the other hand, has a lighter surface onto which a textile texture is imprinted.

The face seems to emerge directly from the board, and the wings broaden the figure without completely concealing the support. The difference between the visual weight of the wood and the more delicate texture of the ceramic forms the core of the work.

It can be displayed on a wall or placed in a composition, always leaving the wood knot visible.

Do not wet. Periodically dust with a soft, completely dry cloth.

The charm of handmade

The wooden support is naturally unique, and the imprint on the ceramic also changes slightly along its surface. The piece originates precisely from the encounter between these differences.
