The starting point is still the portrait, but the features are progressively intersected by a second structure composed of symbols and segments. The figure's skin seems to transform into a surface on which to record thoughts and fragments.

The contrast between the warm complexion and the black and white marks keeps the face legible without allowing it to return to a traditional representation.
