Product Description

Nucleo Primigenio presents itself as a small organism in transformation. The compact volume is traversed by a deep opening, resembling a natural cavity, which draws the eye inwards and alters the perception of the mass.

Vertical grooves adorn the surface, creating channels where glazes settle with varying intensity. Yellow introduces luminous accents, while grey and darker areas add depth to the volume. The Raku firing process adds chromatic variations and reactions that cannot be fully anticipated.

Due to its compact size, the sculpture can be placed on a desk, a shelf, or on top of books. A raking light highlights the reliefs and the contrast between the outer surface and the central opening.

Use and care

Raku ceramic is decorative and sensitive to water, impacts, and thermal shocks. Do not wet the sculpture; clean it only with a soft, completely dry cloth.

The charm of handmade

Grooves, the opening, and glaze reactions make Nucleo Primigenio a unique form. Artists guide the material, but fire completes each surface in an unrepeatable way. A work selected by Vicode for its ability to connect organism, void, and transformation.
