Nomad Monkey is a hand-painted ceramic decorative plate by Artema Galli. A monkey in a naive style stands out against a background of red, green, and ochre diagonal stripes, creating a lively and deliberately irregular composition.

Product Description

While Iconic Zebra works mostly with vertical contrast, Nomadic Monkey builds movement through diagonals. The colored bands cross the plate obliquely and seem to push the figure off-center, making the image more dynamic.

The monkey is outlined with a few strokes, enough to suggest expression and character. There is no pursuit of realism: the subject almost becomes a character in an illustrated story, placed on a surface dominated by color and freedom of gesture.

The circular shape allows the plate to be displayed both vertically, like a small painting, and horizontally on a table or console. A composition with other pieces from the Animals series can create an interesting contemporary bestiary, while each work retains its own identity.

Use and care

Nomadic Monkey is an exclusively decorative object. Do not use with food or water and do not wash in the dishwasher. Clean gently with a soft, completely dry cloth.
