• Unique Handcrafted Piece

Eco dei Secoli (Echo of the Centuries) is a ceramic totemic sculpture by Gabriella Gaudino and Roberto Giuntoli.

The base, constructed from a succession of rings, is traversed by an intense cobalt blue; from this structure emerges a slender, vertical neck, with a lighter, more textured finish. A unique piece that connects geometric rhythm and manual modeling.

Product Description

Eco dei Secoli is constructed as a vertical sequence. At the bottom, a series of superimposed rings creates a regular rhythm and visually concentrates the weight of the piece; the body then tapers into a long, linear neck, which lightens the composition and amplifies its thrust.

Cobalt blue gathers in the grooves of the base, creating denser, deeper areas. In the upper part, the surface becomes lighter and opaque, allowing the natural character of the terracotta to emerge. This variation in material and color ideally divides the work into two sections: one compact and rhythmic, the other rarefied and vertical.

The sculpture can be placed on a narrow console, a sideboard, or a pedestal. Side lighting highlights the alternation of the rings, while a neutral background allows the blue to maintain its central role.

Use and care

Eco dei Secoli is conceived as a decorative sculpture and not as a container. Do not wet it and clean it periodically with a soft, completely dry cloth.

The charm of handmade

The distance between the rings, the saturation of the blue, and the slight variations in the profile attest to the manual construction of the piece. Eco dei Secoli does not seek serial perfection, but a balance entrusted to the rhythm and sensibility of the artists. A presence selected by Vicode to define a clear and contemplative visual axis in space.
