Product Description

Light Deviation builds illusion not only through painting but also by physically using different materials.

Coloured tapes mark the lower part of the composition, while transparent acetate visually alters the underlying geometries. The title therefore describes a phenomenon that genuinely occurs on the work's surface.

The yellow sphere introduces a stable point within a composition that is otherwise based on deviation and displacement.

Use and care

Acetate and the painted surface require care. Protect from direct light, heat and humidity, and do not use detergents on the artwork.

The charm of handmade

Tapes, paint and acetate are physically assembled on the canvas. The three-dimensionality and refraction therefore belong to the real object and cannot be fully conveyed by a digital image.
