At first glance, Plenilunio dalle Persiane (Full Moon through the Shutters) might seem like a purely geometric composition. However, the title completely changes its interpretation: the bands become the slats of a shutter and the bright disk transforms into the moon.

Balistreri uses chiaroscuro to give the bands an almost three-dimensional depth. The work thus remains suspended between Optical Art and the memory of a simple domestic experience.

Its vertical format and controlled palette make it particularly suitable for minimalist interiors, where the perceptual component can clearly emerge.
