Tramonto a Riva is a hand-painted Monterosso straw bag by Carlo Farsetti. Stylized fish, sea, and polychrome markings animate the woven palm surface with a naive language inspired by the Cinque Terre. It is a unique 1/1 piece accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a dust bag.

Product Description

Tramonto a Riva uses the large surface of the bag as an irregular canvas. The painting follows and crosses the weave of the palm, always leaving the nature of the support visible.

Carlo Farsetti constructs a marine scene through fish, waves, and color without seeking a realistic representation of Monterosso. The reference to the Cinque Terre comes through the lightness of the stroke and a palette associated with the sea and summer landscape.

At 50 centimeters wide, the bag has a significant presence and can become the main accent of a linen, denim, white, or natural-toned outfit. When not worn, it can also be displayed as a decorative object.

Use and care

Protect from water, rain, and humidity. Do not rub the paint or compress the weave. When not in use, store it in the dust bag, maintaining its shape.

Straw and paint react to each other: the fibers modify the brush's path and prevent the surface from becoming perfectly uniform. As a unique 1/1 piece, the support and painting form a single, unrepeatable composition.
