Carlo Farsetti: Intertwining Art between Matter and Color

Casa Farsetti's creations are not mere accessories, but the fruit of a vision that transforms raw materials into visual poetry. Born from the intuition of Carlo Farsetti, a Tuscan artist who transformed his passion for art and travel into a new creative language, each piece is unique and unrepeatable. The bags are brought to life by the skilled hands of a women's cooperative, weaving sun-dried palm leaves: a natural, living, and durable "canvas," deliberately chosen to give a new identity to the simple.

Carlo Farsetti elevates everyday objects to pure art forms. Through the use of vibrant water-based acrylic paints or the incorporation of antique fabrics, each weave becomes a narrative. These works transcend their primary function: they are "wearable art" that authentically define a style, but also decorative sculptures capable of transforming a living space with their dramatic presence. It is a tribute to the Wabi-Sabi philosophy: celebrating the beauty of the imperfect, the freshness and lightness of an art that displays itself with disarming simplicity.

Carlo Farsetti

Art to wear, art to live.

Unique, original, unmistakable. Casa Farsetti bags are the brainchild of Carlo Farsetti , a Tuscan from San Miniato, who after a lifetime in the legal profession transformed his passion for art and travel into an authentic creative language.

Handcrafted by a cooperative of extraordinary women, weaving leaves of a particular palm dried in the sun, each bag is a piece of art. Painted with bright water-based acrylic colors or decorated with antique fabrics, these creations can be worn as unique clothing items, but also hung as furnishing objects, transforming spaces into suggestive corners full of meaning.

Carlo's choice not to use canvas but a living, natural and resistant material such as palm leaf, reveals his intent: to give new life and a new identity to what is simple , elevating it to an art form.

A gesture that recalls the philosophy of Wabi-Sabi : the beauty of the imperfect, the transitory, the authentic.

An art that shows itself, with simplicity, freshness and lightness.

THE CREATIVE PROCESS

Primo piano delle mani di un artigiano che dipingono con cura un motivo rosso vibrante su una borsa di paglia intrecciata, utilizzando un pennello sottile all'interno del suo laboratorio creativo.

TIME

Up to 12 hours of hand painting to transform matter into art.

THE MATTER

Dwarf palm leaves hand-woven according to a centuries-old tradition.

THE ATELIER

The place where every imperfection becomes the signature of authenticity.

THE GESTURE

No prints, just the unique movement of the hand that makes each bag unique.
