La Siesta del Fauno is a wall sculpture made of natural esparto grass, hand-woven in Spain. The plant fiber forms the face and horns of a figure inspired by a faun, transforming a traditional material into a light and highly tactile sculptural element.

Product Description

La Siesta del Fauno uses a simple fiber to construct a figure belonging to mythological imagery. The weaving simultaneously defines volume, texture, and the direction of the lines.

The esparto grass remains completely visible and is not transformed to lose its nature. Differences in thickness and tone are therefore part of the composition.

Hung on a light-colored or textured wall, the sculpture introduces an organic presence that harmonizes well with wood, stone, natural fabrics, and ceramics.

Use and care

Do not wet the esparto grass. Dust with a soft, dry cloth and keep away from very humid environments.

The charm of handmade

Fibers cannot be woven twice in the exact same way. Small differences in shape and texture directly testify to the artisanal process.
