Soffio d’Ocra is a designer ceramic vase from Sejnane, hand-molded by Hanene. The tear-shaped base, in sand and light ochre, extends into an essential cylindrical neck. A smoky grey glaze runs across the lower part, registering the meeting of clay, flame, and straw on the surface.

Product Description

Soffio d’Ocra owes its identity to the balance between a simple form and a single, unexpected chromatic presence. The lower body is soft and compact; the neck, sharper and more vertical, introduces a measured rhythm that lightens the volume.

The terracotta predominantly retains the natural tones of sand and ochre. A smoky grey cloud with irregular edges appears on the base, created where the burning straw more intensely met the surface. It is not an added decoration, but the visible memory of the firing process.

Thanks to its contained proportions, the vase can be placed on a bookshelf, a console, or a small sideboard. Its silhouette can be left completely free or accompanied by a single dry branch, chosen to extend the verticality of the neck.

Use and care

Sejnane terracotta is porous and not glazed internally. Use Soffio d’Ocra as a decorative sculpture or with dried arrangements; do not pour water inside. Clean exclusively with a soft, dry cloth.

The charm of handmade

The curve of the body, the axis of the neck, and the ash-grey glaze result from steps that cannot be replicated identically. Each piece preserves Hanene's touch and a different imprint of the fire. A ceramic vase selected by Vicode for its earthy luminosity and the tranquility of its form.
