Product Description

This captivating black ceramic sculptural bowl, masterfully shaped by the artist Hanene, defies gravity and the very archetype of a container. Its wide, concave basin is pierced at the center by a perfect circular hole, an intentional opening that transforms the object into a crater of shadow and reflection. The complex materiality of the surface captures and mesmerizes the gaze: the clay has been intensely burnished by high-fire cooking under straw, acquiring deep black and charcoal tones.
