Intreccio Notturno is a glazed terracotta sculpture made in Spain, constructed like a small architecture of solids and voids. The raw terracotta sides feature incisions, while the inner parts are covered with a deep midnight blue glaze. It belongs to Vicode's 1970s Objects selection.

Product Description

Intreccio Notturno behaves like a micro-architecture. Cuts, openings and intersections divide the volume and produce a succession of shadows that changes when the object is rotated.

The terracotta remains raw on the sides, retaining engravings, marks and numbers. The blue, however, is concentrated within the structure, introducing a more compact and luminous surface. The contrast between the two treatments is the true focus of the design.

Within Oggetti anni ’70, the sculpture interprets the geometric and material research linked to the language of the decade without the need to attribute an undocumented vintage dating.

Use and care

Use exclusively as a decorative sculpture. Do not wet and clean with a soft, dry cloth.
