La Danseuse is a hand-painted Saint Tropez straw bag by Carlo Farsetti. The round and spacious shape made of woven palm leaves becomes the canvas for a vibrant female figure. Made as a unique 1/1 piece, it is completed with leather handles, a certificate of authenticity, and a dust bag.

Product Description

La Danseuse brings together two very different languages: the natural structure of a woven bag and the free gesture of painting. The round surface thus becomes a support on which Carlo Farsetti constructs a light and dynamic female figure, designed to accompany the movement of the object when worn.

The palm weave remains visible beneath the color, making the painting different from a print on fabric. Brushstroke and weave coexist on the same surface, with inevitable variations that also change slightly depending on the lighting.

Its generous dimensions make it a true everyday bag, not just an exhibition piece. It can accompany a minimalist summer dress, a linen suit, or a monochromatic look; when not worn, its circular shape also allows it to be displayed as a decorative element.

Use and care
Avoid rain, seawater, and prolonged contact with humidity. Do not rub the painted surface. When not in use, store it in its dust bag in a dry place, avoiding compressing the weave.

The charm of handmade
La Danseuse is a unique 1/1 piece: the palm weave and Carlo Farsetti's painting cannot be reproduced identically. The slight irregularities of the weave and brushstroke are therefore part of the work's identity, not elements to be uniformed.
