Doppio Sguardo is a pair of ceramic vases, enameled and hand-painted by Artema Galli, an expression of the ceramic tradition of Santo Stefano di Camastra.

The bottle shapes are decorated on both sides: stylized female faces on the front and abstract fields on the back. This unique set combines Sicilian craftsmanship with contemporary language.

Product Description

The project relates two different and complementary female figures. One is constructed through a sharp and direct gaze; the other appears more rarefied, defined by a few essential lines. The theme of vision thus becomes the narrative thread linking the two vases.

Artema Galli uses the bottle shape as a pictorial surface. Black lines, coral red necks, and chromatic fields continue on the back, making both pieces double-sided and altering their interpretation according to the viewing angle. The slight differences in shape, color, and design are due to the handmade process.

Designed to be displayed together, the two vases can be placed on a console, a bookshelf, or a wide shelf. They function as autonomous domestic sculptures or can hold small branches and dried arrangements.

Note on use
This is not a mass-produced object, but a unique set created entirely by hand. The small differences and irregularities present are not defects, but the precious story of manual craftsmanship and the absolute guarantee of their uniqueness. Ideal as decorative sculptural elements or as single-flower vases.
