Agreement – Chocolate Artistic Ceramic Vase

Accordo is perhaps the most compact form in its family. Its body tends towards a circle but does not rigidly follow it: it widens naturally, slightly changes tension on the two sides, and ends in a short neck shifted from the central axis. These are minimal variations, yet sufficient to avoid the perfect symmetry that would make the object predictable.

Its strength lies precisely in its proportions. With a width of 18 centimeters and a height of 17, the vase maintains a full and compact presence, but less expansive than the more horizontal forms in the same series. The result is a balanced volume, easy to place even in small spaces and capable of visually supporting a composition without dominating it.

CASAKŪ envisioned this family of ceramic vases as a small system of kindred forms: they can be grouped, alternated in colors, or separated. However, Accordo maintains its own autonomy. On a shelf, a console, or next to a selection of books and objects, its silhouette is sufficiently defined to work as a single element.

The chocolate hue makes the volume particularly warm. On the GESSO finish, the brown does not appear shiny or saturated, but softer and earthier; a quality that makes it natural alongside walnut, dark oak, travertine, light stones, leather, and burnished metals.

Each vase is conceived and designed by CASAKŪ and subsequently handcrafted in Indonesia. To achieve the collection's particular surface, a technique developed with the artisans is used, based on the application of a gypsum primer that gives the ceramic a matte, chalky, and pleasantly tactile finish.

This is an essential way of understanding contemporary artistic ceramics: not through the addition of ornaments, but by entrusting identity to the balance between proportion, material, and color.

The interior remains unglazed and unsealed: the vase is not suitable for holding water. It can be left empty as a small sculptural object or used with dried botanical elements.
