Tropical Alchemy is a polychrome ceramic sculptural vase, handcrafted with a three-dimensional surface of organic protrusions.

The reactive glazes overlap in crimson red, turquoise, and forest green, creating unique variations. It is a designer vase with an intense presence, conceived as a unique and autonomous piece.

Product Description

The form of Tropical Alchemy begins with a bulbous base and tapers towards a narrower neck. The surface is entirely covered with protuberances and reliefs, which alter the vessel's profile and create an ever-changing play of light and shadow.

The reactive glazes are applied in layers and drizzles. The red of the neck meets the turquoise and forest green of the lower part, producing fusions, thickenings, and chromatic variations determined by the firing process. Each side presents a different composition and invites the observer to view the vessel from multiple perspectives.

Due to the richness of its texture and color, it is best displayed as a standalone piece. A neutral surface, a glass table, a dark wood credenza, or a niche with deep tones allows the material to emerge without competing with other objects. It does not require flowers or branches: the form already possesses its own completeness.

The allure of handmade
