Scarlet Bull is a hand-painted Forte dei Marmi straw bag by Carlo Farsetti. The woven structure and leather handles support a red bull surrounded by polychrome fields and marks. A unique 1/1 piece from the capsule collection, accompanied by a certificate of authenticity and a dust bag.

Product Description

Toro Scarlatto is the most structured of Carlo Farsetti's three pieces in this collection. The rectangular shape creates a more stable pictorial surface compared to the round bags, allowing the bull's figure to occupy the center with an immediate presence.

The red forms the focal point, while blue, green, yellow, and light marks are distributed over the natural weave without completely obscuring it. The subject retains figurative recognizability, but the brushstrokes and color fields avoid realistic representation, shifting the piece towards a more expressive language.

The leather handles give structure to the whole and emphasize its function as a bag. It can be worn with linen, denim, white, black, or natural tones, allowing the painting to remain the main chromatic element of the outfit.

Use and care
Protect the bag from water and humidity. Avoid rubbing the painted surface and do not overfill the structure. When not in use, store it in the dust bag, maintaining the weave in its natural shape.

The charm of handmade
The bull is painted directly on the straw and must therefore contend with an irregular surface, made of fibers and weaves. It is this relationship between the support and the brushstroke that makes Toro Scarlatto a truly individual piece. The 1/1 edition confirms the non-serial nature of the work.
