Product Description

The subject of I Pesci Combattenti (The Fighting Fish) is built around a pair. Two similar yet chromatically opposite figures occupy the circular surface of the bag and appear to chase each other, transforming the very shape of the accessory into part of the composition.

Carlo Farsetti uses red and blue to represent two complementary visual identities. The declared reference is to Sicily: red evokes the lava of Etna, blue the Ionian Sea. More than a clash, the design thus narrates a relationship between two forces coexisting in the same landscape.

The large round surface makes the painting immediately visible when the bag is worn. To enhance it, I would pair it with simple, monochromatic outfits; when not in use, it can also be displayed as a decorative object.

Use and care
Avoid water, rain, and humidity. Do not rub the paint or compress the woven structure during storage. Store in the dust bag when not in use.

The charm of handmade
The texture of the straw constantly modifies the brushstroke, making it impossible to obtain two identical surfaces. I Pesci Combattenti is also a 1/1 piece: painting and support therefore form a single work.
