Cadenza is a ceramic vase with soft and deliberately irregular proportions. The full, rounded body tapers towards a slightly off-center neck, creating a silhouette that is only seemingly simple. In the sugar paper shade, the chalky finish of the GESSO collection absorbs light and gives the color a quiet depth, particularly elegant in contemporary interiors.

Product Description

Cadenza belongs to a family of ceramic vases designed to explore variations of the same form. Round volumes, sometimes compressed, change proportions and inclination while maintaining a common language. This element of the series is distinguished by its compact profile and the neck, which is slightly off-axis, naturally interrupting the body's regularity.

It is a minimal detail, yet sufficient to give movement to the entire figure. Observed frontally, it appears compact; as you shift your gaze, the curve changes, and the vase gains a more sculptural presence. A form that doesn't seek effect but finds its identity in proportions.

CASAKŪ designed these objects to be adaptable in various ways: gathered in a monochrome composition, combined with different colors, or used individually as an accent in a space. Cadenza maintains this versatility. Its contained dimensions make it suitable for a bookshelf, a console, a small table, or a composition of objects and books, without losing impact when left alone.

The dusty blue color decisively contributes to its character. On the surface of the GESSO collection, the blue loses any brightness and becomes dusty, almost mineral. Light glides over the curves without sharp reflections, making the continuity of the volume more evident.

Each piece is conceived and designed by CASAKŪ and then handcrafted in Indonesia. The unique surface is created using a technique developed with artisans, involving a plaster primer designed to give the ceramic its soft, matte, and textured finish.

Cadenza thus interprets contemporary artistic ceramics through a few essential elements: a full form, slight asymmetry, and a color capable of integrating into a space without becoming mere decoration.

The interior is left unglazed and not waterproofed: the vase is not suitable for holding water.
