Rifugio Poetico is a sculpture made from reclaimed solid oak by Stefano Puzzuoli – Estebanland. The ascending volume is hand-carved following an organic profile that resembles a flame, a shell, or a small shelter.

It can stand alone as a sculpture or hold a single flower.

Product Description

Rifugio Poetico concentrates the mass of the oak in a vertical structure that opens at the top. The profile is not perfectly symmetrical: it follows the characteristics of the wood and keeps small variations of the manual work visible.

The grains cross the surface and become part of the design. The side light highlights the curves and allows a better perception of the relationship between the full volume and the small opening for the flower.

Left free, the sculpture functions as a small domestic totem. With a fresh flower, it is preferable to use a waterproof test tube, avoiding direct and prolonged contact of water with the oak.

Use and care

Clean with a soft, slightly damp cloth and dry immediately. Avoid aggressive detergents, excess water, and very humid environments.

The charm of handmade

The oak block has its own grain and differences that Estebanland integrates into the form instead of erasing them. The result is an object that cannot be duplicated exactly.
