Ritmo della Terra (Rhythm of the Earth) is a sculptural ceramic vase, constructed through a vertical sequence of overlapping rings. The terracotta-colored base is traversed by freely applied black drippings, which follow the reliefs and interrupt the geometric regularity.

A designer vase from the Anatomie del Silenzio collection, suspended between a totem, a column, and an organic form.

Product Description

Ritmo della Terra takes shape through repetition. A series of ceramic discs are stacked from bottom to top, building a column with an articulated profile. The succession of rings generates a constant rhythm, similar to a vertebral structure or the stratification of a geological formation.

The black glazing then acts upon this ordered construction. The drips flow freely along the reliefs, stopping in the indentations and resuming on the next band. The resulting design cannot be precisely replicated: gravity and firing transform each application into an autonomous composition.

The vase reaches its maximum expressiveness when left free of botanical elements. A rough wooden shelf, a dark metal side table, or a neutral plinth allow the contrast between the warm terracotta background and the vertical movement of the black to be clearly appreciated.

Use and care

Ritmo della Terra is conceived primarily as a sculptural vase. Do not fill it with water and clean it with a soft, dry cloth, avoiding abrasive products that could alter the glaze.

The charm of handmade

The distance between the rings and the path of the drips are determined during the construction and glazing of each individual piece. Geometry and randomness thus coexist without canceling each other out. A designer vase selected by Vicode for its ability to transform repetition into rhythm and material into architecture.
