Fish Memory #3 is a hand-carved and hand-painted tropical wood sculpture, the third piece in a series of four recovered in Marrakech. The green body is enlivened by red and blue details and rust-colored fins.

Product Description

Among the four Memory Fish, number 3 stands out most for the presence of green. The colour covers most of the body and is interrupted by small, brighter details, while the rust-coloured fins introduce a more earthy tone.

Shape and expression maintain the direct and naive language of the series. The carving does not aim for a naturalistic representation: what matters is the object's personality and the relationship between the aged surface and colour.

It can be displayed alone or reconnected with the other pieces in the series to create a small domestic installation.

Use and care

Do not wet the wood. Clean only with a soft, completely dry cloth.

The charm of handmade and time

Carving, painting, and patina coexist on the same surface. Discoloured areas and small irregularities are not elements to be smoothed out, but part of the piece's history.
