Eclissi Materica is a designer black ceramic vase, hand-molded and glazed. Its biomorphic silhouette is traversed by two asymmetrical cavities that transform the void into an integral part of the composition.

The ultra-glossy black finish reflects light along the curved surfaces, giving the piece a distinct and contemporary sculptural presence.

Product Description

The form of Eclissi Materica arises from the encounter between a compact volume and two irregular openings. The cavities do not have an ancillary decorative function: they interrupt the mass, create depth, and allow light and background to visually enter the artwork.

The smooth surface and glossy black glaze accentuate the continuous profile of the ceramic. Depending on the viewing angle, reflections flow over the curves and alter the perception of the volume, making the piece appear sometimes more solid, sometimes lighter.

Eclissi Materica can be placed on a console, a sideboard, or within a niche. A light surface of stone, travertine, or natural wood enhances its contrast; a side light, however, highlights the voids and variations in the finish.

Use and care

The piece is conceived as a decorative sculpture and does not require floral elements. To preserve the glaze, do not fill it with water and clean it exclusively with a soft, dry cloth.

This piece is born outside of mass production. Slight variations in shape, surface, and finish are authentic traces of manual work and make each piece unique. A design accent selected by Vicode, designed to interact with space and enrich it with material, character, and authenticity.
