"Luna Verde" Vase

Luna Verde retains the openings and functional memory of the botijo, but profoundly alters the relationship between its parts. The body bends and opens along an arched line, creating a silhouette reminiscent of a crescent moon or a growing plant.

The raw terracotta base immediately reveals the material origin of the piece. In the upper part, the green glaze, on the other hand, envelops the surface with a more compact and luminous finish. The boundary between the two processes does not follow an industrially perfect line, but retains the movement of manual application.

It can be displayed on a console, a bookshelf, or in the center of a table. The shape changes significantly depending on its orientation and deserves to be observed from multiple angles. The green interacts with wood, stone, and natural materials, while the terracotta base keeps the overall look warm and grounded.

Use and care

Luna Verde is primarily conceived as a decorative sculpture. Do not pour water inside it and only use dry arrangements. Clean with a soft, dry cloth, paying attention to the unglazed terracotta part.
