Product Description

This sculpture stands out for its powerful architecture and a magnetic three-dimensional surface that invites continuous tactile exploration. Its open, chalice-like form, reminiscent of an ancient ritual goblet, is embellished with a series of vertical bosses individually shaped on fresh clay. The intense, almost metallic black finish is achieved through traditional ancestral firing in contact with straw smoke. Manual polishing with river stones highlights the peaks of the reliefs, imparting a luster that wonderfully contrasts with the opaque shadows of the material. A work of strong character, capable of breaking the linearity of contemporary decor with its archaic and material aesthetic.
