Ancient Pulcinella Mask is an antique Neapolitan artifact attributed to the early twentieth century, characterized by a long hooked nose, deep wrinkles, and a patina matured over time. Not a contemporary reproduction, but a collector's item linked to the historical iconography of Commedia dell'Arte.

Product Description

The value of this mask lies primarily in its age. The surface does not attempt to simulate aging: folds, abrasions, chromatic variations, and patina belong to the object's history and contribute to its presence.

The face retains the essential characteristics of Pulcinella. The pronounced nose, the lined forehead, and the ambiguous expression immediately evoke one of the most recognizable figures in Neapolitan theatrical tradition, while allowing the aged material to primarily tell its story.

For this reason, I would place it far from a simple "vintage decoration" logic. It is more appropriate to display it in isolation, on a stand or inside a display case, or to place it on a bookshelf alongside art volumes, historical objects, and natural materials.

Use and Care

Do not wet the mask. Avoid very humid environments, direct sunlight, and heat sources. Dust only with a soft, dry cloth, without detergents.
