Aceteira is a Valencian ceramic oil cruet, hand-molded and painted in Spain. The white background is crossed by red brushstrokes, while the handle and spout maintain the recognizable structure of traditional Mediterranean oil cruets.

Product Description

Aceteira is born from an everyday object that Valencian ceramics transforms into a decorative piece. The body, handle, and long spout are designed to be immediately recognizable, while the red striped decor gives the shape a more graphic identity.

The brush follows the curvature of the ceramic without aiming for mechanical regularity. The stripes vary slightly in thickness and spacing, and it is precisely these variations that differentiate the piece from an industrially printed surface.

Even when used solely as a decorative object, Aceteira brings a fragment of Spanish material culture to a shelf, a sideboard, or a contemporary kitchen. The white and red interact well with wood, stone, and neutral-colored kitchens.

Use and Care

The original product description presents it as a functional oil cruet, but in the absence of specific certification of suitability for food contact, it is more prudent to consider it a decorative object. Do not use it for oil or other foods until such suitability is verified. Clean with a soft, dry cloth.
