Alba Inclinata is a geometric terracotta sculpture handmade in Spain. The glazed white front is built through a grid of inclined elements, while the sides reveal the natural color and porosity of the earth. It is part of the 70s Objects selection.

Product Description

Alba Inclinata (Tilted Dawn) relates two very different surfaces. On the sides, the terracotta remains raw and opaque; on the front, the white glaze reflects light, making the geometric structure more legible.

The tilted elements are not merely decorative. They create indentations and small shadows that change with the lighting, making the sculpture appear different throughout the day.

Due to its contained dimensions, it can be used on a bookshelf, desk, or shelf, preferably where it can receive side lighting.

Use and care

Do not wet the terracotta. Dust only with a soft, dry cloth.

The inclinations, edges, and glazing retain slight differences from manual construction. The geometry thus remains precise but not industrially uniform.
