Eclissi Chiara is a designer ceramic vase from Sejnane, hand-sculpted by Farida. Its teardrop silhouette extends into a slender neck, while deep charcoal black stains run across the sand-colored base.

The contrast comes directly from firing under straw, making each side unique.

Product Description

Eclissi Chiara builds its strength through contrast. The pale, luminous surface is broken up by isolated black areas, like shadows cast on the earth or suddenly darkened portions of matter.

The shape accompanies this chromatic tension. The wide, soft base concentrates the visual weight at the bottom; the long, rigorous neck, on the other hand, lengthens the silhouette, introducing a sharper vertical direction.

Farida polishes the clay with seashells before firing. The surface thus becomes compact and delicately reflective, while the marks left by combustion remain deep and opaque. The vase can be rotated to show different configurations and finds an ideal place on a sideboard, a console table, or a light pedestal.

Use and care

Sejnane terracotta retains its natural porosity. Use Eclissi Chiara as a decorative sculpture or with dried branches; do not pour water inside. Dust exclusively with a soft, dry cloth.

The charm of handmade

The continuity of the shape is built by Farida without a potter's wheel, while the black presences depend on unpredictable exposure to fire and smoke. Each vase develops its own composition. A piece selected by Vicode for the balance between luminosity, shadow, and verticality.
