Orizzonte Pallido is a designer ceramic vase from Sejnane, hand-molded by Hanene and polished with seashells. The bottle-shaped silhouette is defined by an unusually light palette, in which ivory, sand, and ash gray meet small rust accents left by the fire.

The craftsmanship belongs to the ceramic knowledge of the women of Sejnane, recognized by UNESCO.

Product Description

Orizzonte Pallido interprets Sejnane pottery with a rare luminosity. The natural color of the clay predominates, enveloping the volume with ivory and sand tones, interrupted only by ashen veils and small darker marks produced during firing.

The shape develops from a soft, gathered base towards a thinner neck. Hanene constructs the vase without a wheel, maintaining slight variations in the profile that accompany its vertical development. Polishing with seashells compacts the surface and gives it a discreet luminosity, without hiding the natural texture of the terracotta.

On a console, shelf, or sideboard, Orizzonte Pallido introduces a clear and silent presence. It can be paired with dark woods, stone, burnished metals, and natural fabrics, or accompanied by a single dry branch that ideally extends the line of the neck.

Use and care

Sejnane terracotta is fired at a low temperature and retains its natural porosity. Use the vase as a decorative sculpture or with dry arrangements; do not pour water into it. Dust with a soft, completely dry cloth.

The light tone, small firing marks, and slight asymmetries preserve Hanene's touch, making each Orizzonte Pallido unique. A designer vase selected by Vicode for its ability to express the strength of the earth through a luminous, measured, and authentic presence.
