Product Description

This sculpture breaks the classic patterns of the traditional vase, asserting itself with the force of a pure, cylindrical volume, similar to a large ceremonial goblet. The surface is punctuated by fascinating raised "bosses," molded directly into the clay to create a magnetic interplay of light and shadow. The coloring presents itself as a true geological map: metallic black, obtained from unpredictable straw smoking, alternates with warm burnt earth and ivory tones, bearing witness to the irregular passage of fire. A powerful material architecture, capable of uniting the archaic nature of the gesture with an almost brutalist and exquisitely contemporary aesthetic.
