Product Description

This vertical sculpture is a sublime example of the expressive and material capabilities of Sejnane ceramics. Its surface tells a fascinating story of transformation: the base, enveloped in a deep, metallic black obtained from prolonged contact with smoke, gradually fades upwards, revealing the natural, vibrant orange hue of terracotta on its long neck. This transition is not the result of chemical glazes, but of the mastery in controlling fire during ancestral open-air firing. The elongated, imperfect, and sinuous bottle shape offers a smooth and sensual tactility thanks to patient stone polishing. A unique work, intended for those who can read the authentic signature of the human being in the nuances of the material.
