Dromedario starts from an immediately recognizable figure but reduces its anatomy to a few essential lines. The neck, back, and legs merge into a continuous silhouette, closer to the language of contemporary sculpture than to a naturalistic representation.

Paper-mâché allows for the creation of a significant volume while keeping the piece surprisingly light. The material is modeled in layers and then hand-finished, leaving slight undulations and differences in thickness on the surface. The two-tone palette highlights the structure without making it heavy and ensures the profile is legible even from a distance.

It can be placed on the floor, on a large console, or on a low pedestal. Dried branches and light arrangements can accompany its verticality, but the animal silhouette maintains full autonomy even when the vase is left empty.

Use and care

Paper-mâché is sensitive to water and humidity. Use only dry arrangements and place the piece indoors or in completely covered and dry outdoor spaces. Dust with a soft cloth, without detergents.
