Moroccan Duality is a papier-mâché design vase, hand-shaped and perforated. The openings evoke mashrabiya patterns, transforming light into a tapestry of shadows.

The organic profile and two-tone grey and off-white finish give the piece a sculptural presence, while keeping it lightweight and easy to place.

Product Description

The structure of Moroccan Duality is created through a sequence of solids and voids. Irregular openings pierce the body and continuously alter the perception of volume, revealing the wall or elements in the background.

The inspiration from mashrabiya is not translated into a literal ornamental reproduction. The architectural reference is simplified and adapted to an organic form, in which the papier-mâché retains slight undulations and differences in thickness.

Placed near a light source, the vase casts shadows, making the openwork more visible. It can be displayed on a console, a table, or on the floor, provided it is in a position protected from water and humidity.

Use and care

Papier-mâché is a decorative material and not waterproof. Do not put water or fresh flowers directly into the vase. Use only dry arrangements and clean with a dry cloth, without detergents.
