Habiba's Rhomboid is a designer black ceramic vase, hand-shaped according to the Sejnane tradition. Its biconical section widens in the central part and narrows towards the base and opening, creating a diamond-like profile.

Firing in contact with smoke generates black and metallic grey shades.

Product Description

Habiba moves away from the soft, globular forms of traditional ceramics to construct a volume with a sharper geometry. The rhomboid cross-section reaches its maximum width at the center and progressively tapers towards the top and bottom.

The manual crafting prevents the facets from becoming perfectly rigid. The subsequent polishing with river stones softens the edges and creates a compact surface, on which the black of the smoke firing alternates with gray and metallic nuances.

Its low proportions make it suitable for a coffee table, a bookcase, or a sideboard. It can interact with organically shaped objects, art books, and light materials, creating a contrast between geometric rigor and earthen warmth.

Use and care

The ceramic is porous and unglazed internally. Use the vase as a decorative element or with dried arrangements; do not pour water into it. Dust gently with a dry cloth.

The charm of handmade

Habiba's Romboide is made without a potter's wheel and without industrial molds. The slight differences between the facets and the variations in the smoke firing document the crafting process and make each piece unique. A designer vase selected by Vicode to combine contemporary geometry and ceramic tradition.
