Product Description

This amphora sculpture is a living canvas, a direct testament to the profound dialogue between matter and the elements. Unlike monochromatic works, this vase celebrates the natural polychromy of clay: the ivory-colored base is punctuated by dense black marks and warm orange hues. These are not painted decorations, but the indelible effect left by flames and straw during ancestral open-air firing. It is the fire itself that "drew" this unique work, guided by the skillful hands of the artist who shaped it and then finely polished it with a shell. A true fragment of anthropological history, capable of bringing the warmth of the earth and the invaluable wisdom of a female community into contemporary spaces.
