Lacrima d'Ombra is a black ceramic design vase from Sejnane, hand-molded by Farida. The generous base progressively narrows into a straight and slender neck, while the polished surface combines deep blacks, anthracite grays, and a slight ochre and ash-colored flame.

Product Description

Lacrima d’Ombra (Shadow's Tear) develops through a continuous curve. The lower body appears full and welcoming; moving upwards, the shape narrows without abrupt interruptions, becoming a vertical, contained neck.

The free modeling gives the vase an organic profile, devoid of the geometric rigidity of an industrial form. The surface is smoothed with seashells until it achieves a more compact and silky feel, over which light glides without producing excessively glossy reflections.

The black of the firing is intersected by anthracite gray passages and a small ocher presence at the base. This warm trace breaks the dark continuity and makes the composition different depending on the side observed. Lacrima d’Ombra can be placed on a bookshelf, a console, or a sideboard, either left empty or accompanied by a single dry branch.

Use and care

Terracotta is porous and unvitrified. Do not fill the vase with water; use only dry elements. Clean with a soft, dry cloth, without detergents or polishing products.

The continuity of the curve arises from Farida's gesture, while the variations between black, ash, and ocher are defined by the fire. No two pieces can have the same profile or chromatic map. A ceramic vase selected by Vicode for its dark, tactile, and silent elegance.
